Girls, Inc.
A national nonprofit youth organization dedicated to inspiring all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. With roots dating to 1864, Girls Inc has provided vital educational programs to millions of American girls, particularly those in high-risk, underserved areas. Today, innovative programs help girls confront subtle societal messages about their value and potential, and prepare them to lead successful, independent, and fulfilling lives.
The College & Community Fellowship.
The mission of the College and Community Fellowship (CCF) is to eliminate the individual and social barriers to education and civic participation of formerly incarcerated women and their families. Through activities and programs, CCF addresses the educational, economic, and civic participation needs of formerly incarcerated women in the New York metropolitan area, working in concert with other organizations to enhance their successful re-entry.
